COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 7.5 hour Real Estate & Appraisal Continuing Education approved course examines the post financing and credit market meltdown. Important updates in residential valuation, current lending practices and foreclosure impact on market value are included. Resulting strains on municipal resources and budgets becomes an unexpected part of the housing equation. This presentation consists of an instructor-led discussion interspersed with viewing segments of the ground breaking documentary “American Casino”, a compendium of events causing this country’s greatest financial and housing crisis, directed and produced by Leslie & Andrew Cockburn, Table Rock Films. Remedies to financing and credit market restraints will be explored.
